They cause weakness and exhaustion and make people more susceptible to infections. Many people in the developing world say they eat only once a day and sometimes have nothing for days on end. Madiba Foundation has established has established mobile Feeding Schemes/ Kitchens for the poor and those on low incomes and serves a nutritional and dignified meal.
To date, over 10 thousand meals have been served to the neediest.
There are thousands of disadvantaged families who are living below the poverty line but do not ask for charitable handouts.

This means, female pupils could be skipping up to a week of school every single month because they can’t afford tampons, towels or menstrual cups and they’re too afraid to ask for them due to the ridiculous stigma and shame still attached to periods.
Girls in South Africa are ‘using socks because they can’t afford sanitary towels’. It’s a staggering and depressing revelation. A revelation that sounds more like a headline from a developing country. But it’s happening in South Africa and it’s happening in 2017.
